Dura-Ply Roofing Corporation is owned by Thomas J. Preston III. Tom has been in the roofing business for over 30 years. He started out as a 'shingler' for a local residential roofer in the late 70's. In the early 80's he became a commercial roofing 'tar boy'. At this time he realized he could make a difference in the commercial roofing industry by starting his own company that would install a roof that lasts a long time with low maintenance requirements. Ever since the middle 80's he has been exploring, researching and applying various types of roofing products and systems. Through this experience Tom and his father, Thomas J. Preston Jr. have designed what they feel is the most durable, cost effective roof system available.
We now install our own uniquely designed roof system and believe it is beyond comparison to other products on the market today. Our product will reduce your energy requirements year round, is environmentally safe, and will keep you dry for decades.
We have trained our crew in this one application, our application, which provides great consistency in workmanship for the best possible job done with craftsmanship that is hard to compare. We are proud of our crew and product.
Tom has added a new dimension to roofing by becoming a 'chopper pilot'. This love of flying has complemented his roofing business in that he can now provide aerial pictures and video of our clientís roofs. Furthermore, he can ascertain extremely accurate information regarding temperature variation and or moisture content of clientís roofs with the use of thermal imaging. This tool is a beneficial edge that Dura-ply Roofing Corporation offers to its clients to assure a high quality, low risk installation.
